A for attitude is what the Lonely Planet says and we agree that Antwerp is a very cool city. Had a good hotel in the centre from which to explore the city from and do some good dining out and window shopping. Countdown to shopping for "work clothes" is on.
Not too many sites but we have done enough of that and we did get another ride on the tourist train which is always fun.
Antwerp would be a great place to come back to for a shopping weekend....
Antwerp is a charming city of art, fashion, and more importantly heaps of nice bars, restaurants, and cafes.

Not that we got to enjoy them all that often. But we did stop for a drink or two at the odd street-side cafe, and we did go out to a restaurant for dinner on one of our two nights there. Best of all though, we were living right in amongst it all.
Our hotel, cheap as always, was superbly located behind Antwerp's famous cathedral. Just a short walk to the main shopping street, we were situated in restaurant-central. Think Christchurch's The Strip but much, much busier and bigger.
When we decided on Belgium as our next destination we were looking forward to going somewhere a bit cooler after Greece, but the weather here is ridiculous. It's cold one minute and hot the next and it can be sunny in the morning and stormy in the afternoon - just like home I guess.
