One lovely July day we hopped on a train for 1 1/2 hours to a couple of the beautiful Cotswold villages.
We visited Moreton-in-Marsh for a quick pint or two and headed onto pituresque Bourton on the water. The villages were very pretty with cute old english buildings with little doorways and tiny wee shops. There was even a duck race down a little creek - although our duck came fourth to last from a flock of about 100! We dined at one of the riverside pubs, ate ice cream as we strolled through the village square and got caught among some morris dancers - male, english folk dancers with handkerchiefs!
A few Cotswold pics are here.
