We then took a train about 3 hours north to the capital, Lisbon and moved into the city. We still had great temperatures during the day but it was a little cooler at night where you needed jeans or a jumper. We walked through the old town, caught an open air tourist bus, saw some great views and had excellent food and drinks lots of bars and restaurants. Custart tarts are a portuguese speciality so we ate a lot of these or breakfast and tried some piri piri chicken. Delish
