Four years ago we loved our time in Koh Samui,
enjoying candle lit dinners on the beach and sea front bungalows. This
time around we weren't quite as flush, but enjoyed our stop all the
same.
Two god damn awful ferries from Koh
Tao later, we settled into accommodation in Lamai beach. This area was
reasonably busy with typical tourist stalls, restaurants and massage
shops and the beach was beautiful. We went for a couple of swims, hung
out by the pool, and did a little touring round the island, seeing what
had changed in Chaweng and much to Si's delight, finally catching The
Avengers movie.
As we had already sort of done Koh Samui we thought we had better crack on, so crossed the mainland and headed for Krabi.
