Lonely Planet suggested this
was a good spot to rest a few days so we indulged and loved this little
place most tourists only pass through. Scoring a great poolside
bungalow, with two decks!, we were well set up to explore.

A nearby cafe got us off
to a good start with delicious iced coffees and baked goods and we
managed to only find good food and drink here. Sometimes we opted for
cheap and cheerful, Gado-Gado, vege covered in satay sauce, or chicken
fried rice, and others elaborate nasi camper and burgers and sandwiches.

Along with the
main beach, primarily used as a base for snorkel and diving trips, we
hiked over two big hills to the Blue Lagoon, apparently good for
snorkelling, and the white sand beach, which has some excellent waves,
only a handful of swimmers and beautiful blue waters.
Cheap food, a low key
port town with a relaxing vibe and a great hotel room made for an
excellent stay, but with the days left of our trip quickly diminishing,
we headed for Sanur.
